Pettico Wick

near St Abb’s Head, Scottish Borders The ruined pier just visible in this image was once used to land deliveries for the nearby St Abb’s Head lighthouse, reached by a connecting path.  The coastal headland at St Abbs is a nature reserve and home to vast colonies of seabirds.  The ‘wick’, or bay, can be a good location to spot grey seals.
