Burn is a new creation from the Scottish actor and author Alan Cumming and the choreographer Steven Hoggett, featuring the music of Anna Meredith. The show challenges the ‘biscuit tin’ image of Robert Burns and goes beyond the poetry to focus on the man himself – his poverty, personal tragedy, mental health struggles and spectacular success.
Freedom Ballet of Ukraine
The spectacular, world-renowned Ukrainian ballet company, Freedom Ballet, are making the journey from Kyiv to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary at the Edinburgh Fringe. This adaptation of their hit show Boudoir is about the moment of life when knowing yourself, your love and your loss, you can truly see yourself in the mirror. Credits include performing with Franco Dragone, legendary director of Cirque de Soleil, and sharing the stage with Dita Von Teese, Queen of Burlesque Cabaret.

Coinciding with Leon Morocco’s 80th birthday, the Royal Scottish Academy mounts a significant homecoming exhibition of the artists work, Long Road Home.
