New Contemporaries 2024
RSA New Contemporaries, supported by Walter Scott & Partners Ltd, represents the Royal Scottish Academy’s commitment to supporting and promoting contemporary art and architecture in Scotland. As a result of a postponed exhibition during the COVID-19 pandemic, this edition of RSA New Contemporaries will be particularly expansive, with the cohorts of 2022 and 2023 both being represented
RSA Exhibition 2023
Now in its 197th year, the RSA Annual Exhibition provides a platform for contemporary painting, sculpture, film, printmaking, photography and installation, alongside work by some of the country’s leading architects. The exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy Galleries in Edinburgh runs from 6 May - 11 June 2023.
Scottish Gallery New Exhibitions
Edinburgh’s Scottish Gallery launches three new exhibitions. An exhibition of paintings by the artist Helen Glassford, Encounters; The artist and sculptor Lizzie Farey has created a new series of wall pieces and 3D sculptural work, The Song of the Willow. Colin Brown’s new exhibition, Primavera, pays homage to the 18th century Belgian flower painter Pierre-Joseph Redouté.
